The Cambodia Daily today (Sept 22) discussed about the letter of Mr. Keat Chhun, Minster of Ministry of Finance (FoA) who who sent letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen to advocate to stop activity of foreign NGOs to work on Advocacy Sector.

Some leaders of NGOs and spokesman of Ministry of Interior criticized letter that it doesn't have any background of law to persuade or stop NGOs activity on Advocacy action. NGOs work on for public and people interest.

FoA's letter to Prime Minister also a such advocacy activity. Advocacy is development work, so the government should be educated that advocacy is not a violent thing.
