CCC is hosting the second consultation on NGOs law with NGOs in Cambodia today.

Today Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is hosting the second consultation with all NGOs in Cambodia on NGO draft Law. 

We found that the new draft law is similarity with the first draft. Ministry of Interior accepted little from NGOs. 

We would like to address that the key challenge of this draft NGOs law is article 6. If the government allow the all legal entity is volunteer to register everything is solved. Through, the Cambodian Constitution and other treaties which Cambodia is member, provide that all people has right to create or form the association. 

The below was announced by CCC. 

As we now received the 2^nd draft Law from MoI on 24^th March 2011 at 3:00PM,  to generate the inputs and fruitful comment, we would like to encourage  you to  conduct the consultation meeting about the 2^nd draft Law at provincial level  (if you need any financial support please let us know). This consultative meeting will consolidate the result of meeting on 28-March-2011 8:00AM - 3:00PM at KSSA, Korean Society for Service in Asia #19-21, Street 330, Sangkat Beoung Keng Kang III, Khan Chamcar Morn, Phnom Penh (room No.301)  for the readiness to attend the meeting with MoI and MoFAIC on 29-March-2011.
