On September 16, 2011 at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh, the Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee will organize a workshop on “Laws and Freedom of Expression”. The event will be started at 8:00AM.
The workshop is organized in aim to provide the opportunity to participants to discuss in depth in order to have a common understanding on freedom of expression and defamation which is related to the current Cambodian Penal Code.
There will be about 100 participants attending the workshop who will come from the senate, national assembly, constitutional council, government, court officials, National and International NGOs, Donors, Embassy representatives, and communities both in Phnom Penh and from various provinces.
Therefore, we would like to invite you, national and international journalists, radio news producers, and TV news producer to join in this important workshop.
